Week of December 8

Our book this week was The Gingerbread Man.

One of our songs this week was We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

We decorated gingerbread men this week. We used our fine motor skills to sprinkle glitter on our little cookies.

We also practiced our fine motor skills with the North Pole. We used a straw in play doh for our pole. We practiced placing pasta on the pole. It was hard work, but our little ones made lots of progress. They were proud of their work. There was lots of clapping!

We have been practicing our songs for the Christmas program. Our program will be at 10:30 on December 18. Monday and Tuesday classes will need to arrive in the classroom at 10:00 on the day of the program. We will perform first. The children will be dismissed to you from the stage so you can watch the rest of the show together.

Week of December 1

We are excited to welcome December and all the fun of Christmas!

Our Story this week was Welcome Winter.

One of our songs was Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.

We worked on a special secret project this week. We are excited to share it with you right before Christmas!

Our Christmas sensory bin contains split peas and Christmas color pom poms. Our little ones have lots of fun scooping and pouring.

We are all practicing our songs and ringing our bells for the coming Christmas program!
