Week of February 23

It was so nice to get back to school this week after missing last week due to snow.

Our book this week was My First Book of Colors.

One of our songs was Jesus Loves the Little Children.

For our craft this week we made rainbows. We glued colored strips of paper to a cloud and spent time talking about each color.

We did some color and fine motor work this week too.

Week of February 9

A Happy Valentine's week!

One of our songs this week was Jesus Loves Me. We also enjoyed several Valentine's songs.

Our book this week was Courduroy's Valentine.

Our art project this week was a sweet honeycomb bee hive. We used our fine motor skills to glue honeycombs to our paper in the shape of a bee hive. We added our fingerprints to make tiny bees.

Our little ones brought a special friend to class this week. We had a little teddy bear picnic.  They enjoyed dressing up their friends. 

Mrs Lana made some fun Cherry Koolaid playdoh for this week. It was a big hit!

Week of February 2

We will be celebrating Valentine's Day next week. All our little ones are invited to bring a teddy bear or soft friend to class.

We had some penguin fun this week in Toddler Time.

One of our songs was 5 Little Penguins.

One of our books was That's Not My Polar Bear.

We made Penguins using different sizes and colors of hearts. We put the penguins in our snow globe scene from last week.

We worked on our fine motor skills with a Valentine sticker craft.
